Day 1 – Sat - Arrive Lahore

Pick up from airport. Transfer to Hotel for Overnight.

Lahore may be a metro but its treasure trove of historical places surely makes it one of the most beautiful places to visit in Pakistan. Lahore was the city of Mughals, and so much of their creations still remain.

Day 2 – Sun - Lahore Sightseeing Tour

Badshahi Mosque, Shahi Qila, Wazir Khan Mosque, Shahi Hamam, Surjan Singh St.

The Badshahi Mosque is a Mughal-era imperial mosque. It was constructed between 1671 and 1673 during the rule of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, opposite to the Lahore Fort in the northern outskirts of the historic Walled City.

Shahi Qial ( The Lahore Fort ) is a citadel in the walled interior of Lahore. The fortress is located at the northern end of the Walled City and is spread over an area greater than 20 hectares. It contains 21 notable monuments, some of which date to the era of Emperor Akbar.

The Wazir Khan Mosque is a 17th-century Mughal Mosque located in the city of Lahore. The mosque was commissioned by the then governor of Punjab, Wazir Khan, during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a part of an ensemble of buildings that also included the nearby Shahi Hammam baths

The Shahi Hammam, also known as the Wazir Khan Hammam, is a Turkish bath which was built in Lahore, in 1635 C.E. during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan. It was built by chief physician to the Mughal Court, Ilam-ud-din Ansari

Surjan Singh Street has a special place in Old Lahore’s history because it was one of the first places in the Walled City to be restored by the Government of Punjab, World Bank and Aga Khan Trust for Culture. AKTC has trained local craftsmen to restore the decaying wood with new treated wood and limestone.

The Lahore Museum was founded in 1865 at a smaller location and opened in 1894 at its current location on The Mall in Lahore during the British colonial period. Lahore Museum is Pakistan’s largest museum, as well as one of its most visited ones.

The Tomb of Jahangir is a 17th-century mausoleum for the Mughal Emperor Jahangir, located in Shahdara Bagh, Lahore, Pakistan. The tomb is a square, single-story building set within a Persian-style “Chaharbagh” garden. It is notable for its elaborate decoration, featuring red sandstone with marble inlay, and its interior which is adorned with floral frescoes, delicate inlay work, and brilliant marble mosaic.

Anarkali Bazaar is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the heart and soul of Lahore. With its rich history, vibrant atmosphere, and unique shopping experience, it’s an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of Lahore.

The Wagah Border is a famous landmark near Lahore, Pakistan, and is the site of a daily military ceremony that involves the Pakistan Rangers and the Indian Border Security Force This ceremonial event, known as the Beating Retreat Ceremony, includes a patriotic and theatrical display of marching and lowering of the flags at sunset, attracting crowds from both sides of the border.

Day 4 – Tue – Lahore to Swat Valley

Post breakfast, drive to Swat Valey

The name ‘Swat‘ was derived from Suvastu, the Sanskrit name given by early Aryans after its river, meaning ‘good dwelling place’. Civilization flourished along both sides of the 250-kilometre glacier-fed river with summer pastures, rolling hills, lush green forests and azure skies surrounded by majestic mountains conjuring a picture of paradise on earth, straight out of a fairy tale

Visit to Mingora City , which holds the Palace of Nawab e Swat, Swat Museum

Palace of Nawab-e-Swat ( The White Palace ) at Marghazar was the summer residence of the Wali of Swat, Miangul Jehanzeb. Located 7,000 feet above sea level on Marghazar Hill.

Swat Museum was built with the support of the Italian Archaeological Mission and their Embassy in Pakistan. The museum showcases the over 3000 antique objects of Gandhara sculptures and the excavated Buddha’s life story in Swat.

Day 5 – Wed – Swat Valley to Chilas via Abbotabad & Naran

Chilas is a city situated in the District Diamer of Gilgit–Baltistan. It serves as the divisional capital of the Diamer-Astore Division and is strategically positioned along the Indus River. It is known for its unique landscape featuring rugged mountains, rocky cliffs, and the Indus River flowing nearby. Chilas serves as a popular stopover for travelers journeying through the Karakoram Highway, offering basic amenities and stunning views of the surrounding scenery.

It is the world’s highest paved international road, reaching an altitude of 4,693 meters (15,397 feet) at the Khunjerab Pass The highway, which follows an ancient Silk Road route, is a testament to human perseverance and a crucial link for trade and tourism.

Day 7 – Fri – Hunza Valley Excursion

Karimabad, the historic capital of Hunza Valley in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan, is home to significant Ismaili community centers, including a prominent Jamatkhana reflecting the region’s strong Ismaili heritage, with architecture and cultural aspects often linked to Agakhan Heritage while the area itself boasts landmarks like Baltit & Altit Forts, surrounded by majestic peaks like Rakaposhi making it a cultural and scenic hub.

Duikar Viewpoint, also known as Eagles Nest is a famous high-altitude spot in Pakistan’s Hunza Valley (around 10,000 ft), offering incredible 360-degree panoramic views of majestic Karakoram peaks like Rakaposhi , especially stunning at sunrise and sunset when colors paint the snow-capped mountains. Accessible by a short drive from Karimabad, it’s a prime destination for photographers, nature lovers, hikers, and those seeking peace amidst breathtaking scenery.


Altit Fort is an ancient fort in the Altit town in the Hunza valley in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. It was originally home to the hereditary rulers of the Hunza state who carried the title of ‘Mir’, although they moved to the somewhat younger Baltit fort nearby three centuries later. Altit Fort and in particular the Shikari tower is around 1100 years old, which makes it the oldest monument in Gilgit–Baltistan. The fort has received the UNESCO Asia Pacific Heritage Award for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2011.


Baltit Fort is a fort in the Hunza valley, near the town of Karimabad, in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan. Founded in the 8th century CE, it has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative list since 2004. The Mirs of Hunza abandoned the fort in 1945, and moved to a new palace down the hill. It was the home of Ayashkutz royal family of Hunza for 700 years.

Attabad Lake on also known as Hunza Lake, is a lake located in the Gojal region of the Pakistani-administered Gilgit-Baltistan. We will enjoy a boating trip on its turquoise waters

Gulmit Carpet Centre is a women-run carpet weaving center in Gulmit, Gojal, Upper Hunza, Pakistan. Established in 1998 by the Karakorum Area Development Organization (KADO), it operates in a 400-year-old house, providing a space for artisans to create high-quality, handmade carpets from goat, sheep, and yak wool. The carpets feature traditional designs and are dyed using natural methods. Visitors can observe the weaving process and purchase these unique carpets

Husseini Suspension Bridge is a pedestrian hanging bridge over the Hunza River in Gilgit Baltistan’s Karakoram range.

Passu is a village, and the Passu Glacier is a massive ice formation located right next to it, so they are different but intrinsically linked; the glacier is a major feature Passu area in Pakistan’s Hunza Valley, with tourists visiting both the village and the glacier for stunning views of the glacier, Passu Cones and Passu Peak The village is named after the glacier (or vice versa) due to their proximity, and the glacier’s meltwater feeds the Hunza River.

The Aga Khan Higher Secondary School (AKHSS), Gilgit is a premier educational institution for boys, offering classes from grade VIII to XII. The spacious campus with adjoining sports grounds is purpose-built, and is surrounded by beautiful mountains. In the 18 years since its establishment, around 1,500 students have graduated from the school to study at leading national and international institutions.

Day 9 – Sun – Gilgit to Skardu

Skardu is the Divisional Capital , major city in Gilgit-Baltistan.
It has four of the world’s fourteen peaks which are more than eight thousand meters tall above sea level. It has lush green plains, snow-capped mountains, freshwater springs, and historical sites.

Upper & Lower Kachura Lakes , Shigar Valley, Sarfaranga Desert , Skardu Market

Lake Kachura, heart-shaped, is a small natural reservoir even if it looks artificial. It’s a holiday resort for Pakistanis who flock here in droves.
Shigar Valley ( Capital of Shigar District ) is a stunning, culturally rich valley in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan region, known as the gateway to the Karakoram mountains, including K2, featuring lush landscapes, traditional villages, and historical sites like the Shigar Fort. Skardu Market offers a unique shopping experience for visitors, with a bustling bazaar filled with colorful stalls selling local handicrafts, traditional clothing, and intricate jewelry.
