Day 2- am – Half Day Walking Tour of Male – Cultural Experience

4 Hour Male City Walking Tour ( 09:00-13:00 )
Spend time accompanied by your guide discovering the key points of interest in Male’
including but not limited to; the fish market, local market, President & Palace and Friday Mosque. Take a few steps off the beaten track and stop for a drink at a café, frequented by locals.

Complete your tour with a bird’s eye view from one of the city’s tallest
buildings. Remainder of the day at leisure Or Optional Half day snorkeling trip 3 Point Snorkeling (14:00-16:30) Meet Hulhumale Main Jetty Depart on a speedboat for an exciting snorkeling safari. Following a Responsible
Snorkeling briefing we will visit three of the best snorkeling points close to Male’.

Sites vary depending on weather and ocean current conditions but may include Coral Garden, Kurumba House Reef and StingRay City. Opportunities to observe turtles, reef sharks, rays and marine life. You never know what is out in the blue.

Day 3 – Full Day Optional Island Hopping of North Male (10.00 – 16.30)

Not available – Safe Tourism Guidelines prevent us from currently operating a trip to the island of Himmafushi and Huraa offers firsthand information about local island life. Our experienced guides will accompany you on a tour of each island sharing
information on their culture and tradition.

Himmafushi provides an insight into how local islands have developed, it is a popular surf island but also has an industrial economy with a water bottling facility and a tuna factory. Wander the high street and drop into a souvenir shops where you may purchase local handicrafts and mementos.

In Huraa gain insights into the simple life led by the villagers; discover how local boats are made and view the process of making Maldivian dry fish. Discover the mangrove swamps and freshwater lake and learn more about this fragile eco-system. Take lunch at a local restaurant where your guide will introduce you to local flavors.

On the return journey we offer the opportunity to snorkel and discover the underwater world.

The site is selected on the day dependent on weather and ocean conditions but you can be assured of encountering a colourful array of marine life.

Evening – Enjoy a Sunset Cruise (16.30-18.00)

Travelling by speedboat is a popular and recommended way to conclude your memories of the Maldives, Head out to sea at the close of day and enjoy a perfect moment when the sinking sun kisses the horizon, lighting the waves aflame in brilliant
hues of gold and orange. Added to this is the possibility to spot dolphins which are frequently seen at dusk in an area not too far from Hulhumale’.
