Itinerary

Day 1 - Sat: Welcome to Delhi

On arrival you will be assisted for check in at your hotel.

Delhi is not one city. Within it lies several cities, each with its own distinctive allure. Historically speaking what we see today is the composite of seven older cities that were built, looted, destroyed, and then rebuilt over a period encompassing several centuries. The thriving metropolis that you see today is testament to the spirit of Delhi, a city that is unapologetically kitsch under its cultured venues.

Day 2 - Sun : DELHI

In the morning, sightseeing of Old Delhi includes a visit to Jama Masjid and an interesting rickshaw ride through the streets of Old Delhi. In the afternoon, visit Gandhi Smriti, a museum, dedicated to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Later, visit the Sikh Temple and witness the community kitchen where thousands of worshippers are fed round the clock. Also drive through the Presidential Avenue.

Proceed to the 16th century Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden tomb of Asia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Afternoon at leisure

DAY 3 - Mon: DELHI – AGRA

200 km – 4 hrs Driving Time

This morning drive to Agra. Arrival at the hotel and check in.

Situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, this city is home to some of the finest examples of Mughal architecture including its pinnacle Taj Mahal. Agra served as a capital of the Mughal Expire until Shah Jahan shifted it to Delhi.

Afternoon visit the Taj Mahal, built in the 17th century by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as an expression of his love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, truly one of the wonders of the world

Day 4 - Tue: AGRA – FATEHPUR SIKRI – JAIPUR

235 km – 5 hrs driving time.

Drive to Jaipur. Enroute visit the 16th century deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Continue the drive to Jaipur. Arrive and check in.

The pink city of Jaipur is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. It is also amongst the most favoured destinations for shopping. The buildings in the old city were painted with an auspicious rose-pink shade under the orders of Maharaja Ram Singh to welcome the Prince of Wales and Queen Victoria on their visit to India in 1876. This earned the city its epithet, as it quite literally blushed pink with the pleasure of welcoming its guests.

DAY 5 - Wed : JAIPUR

In the morning visit the 16th century Amber Fort, a romantic and classic Rajasthani Fort. In the afternoon visit the City Palace known for its mix of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Also visit the Royal observatory ( Jantar Mantar ) , an astronomical site built in the 18th century.

Spend the afternoon at leisure

Mumbai is a city of dreams and is home to Bollywood, the largest film industry in the world that produces 1000 films every year. According to an estimate, each day 2000 aspiring actors land up in Mumbai to chase their Bollywood dreams. Mumbai is a bustling cosmopolitan city, which is a melting point of diverse culture. However, most of all it is a city of stories. Everybody in Mumbai has a story to tell.
