Day 1 – Saturday – Arrive Cairo – Meet and Assist Transfer to Hotel for check in

am – Visit Pyramids and Sphinx, Memphis and Sakara

After check-in, you will be met by an Egyptologist at your Hotel for a guided tour of the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Thereafter to two of the most important archeological sites of Egypt, Memphis, and Sakara.

pm – At leisure

Evening -Dinner and Show on the Maxim Cruise – Overnight Cairo

Day 2 – Sunday – Full-Day Sightseeing Tour of Cairo with dinner at Hotel

am – Egyptian Museum of ancient antiquities.

The Egyptian Museum is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East and houses the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world. The museum displays an extensive collection spanning from the Predynastic Period to the Greco-Roman Era.

pm – Visits to Al Azhar Mosque, Al Husseini Mosque, Coptic Cathedral.

Citadel, Ben Erza Synagogue, Fatimid Cairo with Al – Moez St

Day 3 – Monday – Transfer to Airport to board flight to Luxor

Today you will embark on your 4 Night Nile Cruise 

Board your 5-star deluxe Nile cruise boat, moored in a private dock in Luxor, where you will enjoy a welcome Zaffa, with drums and flutes.

Lunch will be served on board. After lunch, visit the East Bank and explore Luxor Temple and the Temple of Karnak. 

Afternoon tea will be served in the lounge.

Tonight, you will be greeted by your Boat Manager while you enjoy freshly prepared canapés with some complimentary Egyptian wine and local beer, followed by a gourmet dinner menu.

Evening , Enjoy Luxor by night on a Horse Carriage 

Day 4- Tuesday – Luxor West Bank Tour

Morning -Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride prior breakfast

After a delicious breakfast buffet on board, our tour of the West Bank will begin with a visit to Valley of the Kings. You will also have the chance to visit at least one tomb in the Valley of the Queens and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. On the way back to the River Nile, we will pass by the famed Colossi of Memnon.

Enjoy lunch on board while the boat sails to Esna. 

Afternoon tea will be served on board. 

Tonight, a delicious dinner is served followed by a movie night on board. 

Day 5 – Wednesday – Tour to Edfu and Kom Ombo

Lunch will be served on board while cruising to Kom Ombo. You will also have the chance to take part in an Egyptian cooking lesson.

Following afternoon tea in the lounge, visit the temple of Kom Ombo – dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where, in ancient times, sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the riverbank.

Return to your Nile Cruise boat ready for the sailing to Aswan. Tonight’s entertainment will be an “Egyptian Night” costume party for all guests, with a chance to dress up in traditional Egyptian “galabeyyas”. Dinner will be a lavish buffet of Egyptian specialties.

Day 6 – Thursday – Philae Temple and Felucca Sailing

Enjoy breakfast on board, followed by a short motorboat ride to visit the majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilika. Next, we proceed to the Granite Quarries, which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples, and still hold a huge unfinished obelisk.

Following lunch on board, you will have a chance take a ride on a felucca (a typical Egyptian sail boat) around Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener’s Botanical Gardens, and the Aga Khan Mausoleum (weather permitting, life jackets will be provided).

The Late Agakhan was buried here in this magnificent Mausoleum, modeled on the Fatimid Tombs

Afternoon tea will be served in the lounge while you enjoy the sounds of an Oud trio. Tonight’s farewell dinner will be a gala dinner, with white-gloved waiters serving gourmet cuisine.

Enjoy a Dervish show and belly dancer performance after dinner.

Day 7 – Friday – Deboard your Cruise post breakfast

am-  Transfer to the Aswan airport to fly to Cairo 

pm – Visit to Al Azhar Park and Khalili Bazaar with lunch

Al Azhar Park is a paradise within Medieval Cairo, Egypt. The park was created by the Historic Cities Support Programme of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, an entity of the Aga Khan Development Network.

Day 8 – Saturday – Full Day Excursion to Alexandria with lunch

Alexandria is a port city located on the Mediterranean Sea in northern Egypt founded in 331 BCE by Alexander the Great. It was the site of the Pharos (lighthouse), one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, and the legendary Library of Alexandria and was once the most vital cultural center of the ancient world, rivalling even Athens, Greece.

Enjoy Lunch and Shopping time. Drive back to Cairo for Overnight

Day 9 – Sunday – Fly Luxor to Sharm El sheikh for 4 nights

Evening Tour of the City including visit to Soho Square

Day 10 – Monday – At leisure
