Bangkok’s glorious golden temples and palaces, the royal barges and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, carved from a single block of jade, are must-sees for any visitor. The riverside Temple of Dawn is also stunning and worth seeing. The Royal Palace, a massive complex of carved and gilded buildings, is familiar to many as the setting of the true story of Anna and the King of Siam – and is still used by the royal family today. Bangkok will heighten your senses and fuel memories for a lifetime.

Feel like Thai royalty as you ride an elephant then see these clever animals show their work skills. Ko Samui is an idyllic, forested island with pristine sandy beaches, but venture inland and see majestic cascading waterfalls or a plantation where monkeys harvest coconuts. Back in town, shop for Thai silk, elegant resort clothes and handicrafts. Don’t leave the island without sampling the spicy local fare, which will pleasantly jolt your taste buds.

The diverse capital of Malaysia blends colonial, Islamic and modern architecture, from the soaring Petronas Towers to the beautiful Masjid Jamek, once Kuala Lumpur’s main mosque. Get a bird’s eye view of the city from the open-air observation deck of the Kuala Lumpur Tower, the highest point in the city open to the public. Head to the air-conditioned Central Market to browse its stalls and shops for all kinds of souvenirs, with no bargaining necessary.

Known as “The Pearl of the Orient,” this island’s rainforest and waterfall-clad mountains form the backdrop to its beautiful, sandy beaches. The capital’s George Town Historic District, a wonderful mix of elaborate colonial homes, Chinese heritage buildings and temples, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sprawling Kek Lok Si Temple, with a 100-foot pagoda and gardens, overlooks George Town, and is a great spot for photos. Penang’s abundant street eats will tempt foodies.

Langkawi’s appeal extends from sea level to its hilly interior. Kilim Karst Geoforest Park with its boat tour of mangrove forests, bat caves and floating restaurants, is a leading attraction. Adrenaline seekers can take a walk 2,300 feet above sea level on the Langkawi Sky Bridge and enjoy the amazing view of the surrounding rain forests and nearby islands. If sea level is more your level, relaxing on Cenang Beach or some duty-free shopping in Kuah Town may be just your thing.

Your four-day Yangtze River Cruise, the famous body of water that is revered among the Chinese, has inspired romantic poems and songs and is a journey through time compared to the great waterfront of the modern city of Shanghai and the enchanting gardens and beautiful waterways of Suzhou known as “The Venice of the East”.

Day 1: Beijing. Arrive Beijing – Meet and assist.

Transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight for 3 nights.

Day 2: Beijing.

After breakfast, visit historic Tian An Men Square where Mao Tse Tung first raised the flag of the People’s Republic. Following this, tour the Imperial Palace, also called the Forbidden City, and its gardens. In the afternoon, marvel at the splendid Temple of Heaven and the Hall of Prayer for Bountiful Harvest. Tonight, enjoy dinner at one of the fine restaurants. ( B, L, D )

Day 3: Beijing.

Today, experience the unforgettable! visit one of the world’s most remarkable sights – the Great Wall of China
(Juyongguan section), built over 2000 years ago by Emperor Qin.
The Great Wall stretches over 6000 km across the top of China. Upon returning to the city, visit the Summer Palace, a former retreat for the Imperial family. Time permitting, we will visit one of the Hospitals of Traditional Chines Medicine.
This evening, enjoy a Peking duck dinner at a fine local restaurant. (B, L, D )

Day 4: Xian.

After Breakfast, fly to the ancient city of Xian. Upon arrival, check-in for 2 nights. In the afternoon, visit the Muslim Quarter. Evening, dinner at the local restaurant. ( B, D )

Day 5: Xian.

Enjoy a full day sightseeing to the Xian’s ancient monuments – the incredible Grand Mausoleum of Qin Emperor Shi Huang Di, the first emperor of China. Protecting the emperor’s mausoleum are 6000 life-size terra-cotta warriors and horses. In the evening, enjoy a delectable dumpling dinner with superb entertainment in the Tang Dynasty tradition. Day 6: Xian/Wuhan/Yichang.

Today fly to Wuhan and drive to Yichang to board your Yangtze Cruise with balconies for 4 nights full board. ( B,L,D )

Day 7/8/9: Onboard the Cruise visiting the 3 Gorges

with all sightseeing and meals. ( B, L, D)

Day 10: Shanghai.

Disembark the ship at Chongquing pier, meet & transfer for sightseeing at the Panda House. Then fly to Shanghai for the next 3 nights. ( B, D)

Day 11: Shanghai.

A full day of sightseeing will introduce you to the sights and sounds of this unique and modern city of Shanghai. Visit the Bund, often referred as the “Wall Street” of former foreign powers followed by shopping at the famous Nanjing Road – Pedestrian Street. After lunch, visit the Chenghuangmiao Bazaar and Xintiandi.
This evening enjoys an amazing acrobatic show. ( B, L,).

Day 12: Shanghai.

Today, depart for a full-day excursion to Suzhou “Venice of the East”.
Upon arrival, you will be visiting the Lingering Garden, Hanshan Temple, and enjoy a Boat ride on the ancient Grand Canal. En-route visit the Silk Factory. After lunch, in the late afternoon, return to Shanghai. via the High-Speed Train Tonight, enjoy the Huangpu River Cruise to experience Shanghai by night. ( B, L )

Day 13: After breakfast check-out

Transfer to the airport for your flight home. ( B )
